It is hard to believe another week has gone by since I last sent you a notice, but here is the latest Grass Roots Cartoon “Balanced Budget Myth” at http://stanlyndeauthor.com/?page_id=726.. No matter your political persuasion, most recognize the need for a balanced budget. Without one, well, burying ones head in the sand like an ostrich is unlikely to make the problem go away.

“During the 1880’s cowboys wore flat-heeled boots that were standard Civil War issue. These boots gave way to the cavalry boot, which boasted a higher heel and wood pegged soles. Around 1880 C. H. Hyer of Olathe, Kansas offered custom-made boots to the cowboy trade. Hyer was the first boot maker to build on left and right lasts; earlier boots were made on straight lasts, with no difference between left and right.”
