Dear Friends, Family and Fans,

The next Stan Lynde Cartoon feature "Character Counts!" makes a point about our early U.S. president's integrity in politics and what we too often witness in the political arena today.  Here is the link http://stanlyndeauthor.com/?page_id=1314.  Comments are always welcome.

This Sunday's Latigo cartoon is one of those panorama scenes to which fans over the years have resonated.  Getting out of "Dodge" and into the high country, "caters to the soul."  Before I link you over I want to let you know why the Latigo Sunday cartoon is in black and white and not color.  We had a house fire in 1990 that took everything but our lives, which means all of the original work done by Stan was destroyed.  These Latigo Sunday's were the black and white copies that Stan's assistant Johnny Wehren had, and he gave them to us after our house fire.  We are grateful for them.  They could be colorized again, but Stan is busy writing his next novel The Big Open.  Only so many hours in a dayJ  But the beautiful ink work that he is famous for shines beautifully in these Sunday Latigo cartoons.  So enjoy and click on the art image and it will enlarge on your screen http://stanlyndeauthor.com/?page_id=1304.

We have a new Feature Page at Stan's Blog for Stan Lynde's Cowboy Lore and Legend facts, so link over to http://stanlyndeauthor.com/?page_id=1284 to enjoy the new format.  This Feature comes out each Thursday.  The next post will be #4 in the "boots" series of posts by Stan Lynde on Cowboy Lore and Legend facts.  I think you will enjoy Stan's art work that comes with the Feature.  Bonnie (our social media coordinator) and I are taking "liberties" with years of cartoon material created by Stan in conjunction with the facts posts.
